Water Restoration Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage emergencies — residential and commercial — within our 60-minute response target
• Perform water extraction using truck-mounted and portable units
• Set up and monitor structural drying equipment — LGR dehumidifiers, air movers, desiccant units
• Take and record daily moisture readings using Delmhorst and Tramex meters
• Document all project activity using Encircle mobile app — photos, logs, readings
• Install and maintain floor drying systems (Injectidry, floor mat systems)
• Perform controlled demolition — remove wet drywall, flooring, insulation as needed
• Maintain and load equipment in company vehicles
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work — lifting up to 75 lbs, working in confined spaces
• Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
• IICRC WRT certification preferred — we will train and certify the right candidate
• Experience with restoration equipment (Dri-Eaz, Dri-Eaz LGR, Crosswind AX) a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently on job sites
• Available for emergency on-call rotation (evenings and weekends)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Background check and drug screening required

Compensation & Benefits

• $22 – $32 per hour depending on IICRC certifications and experience
• Overtime pay on large-loss projects
